I created this blog as a guide for people to learn how to navigate through their own Vegetarian or plant-based journey with a little bit more insight.
When I first started my Vegetarian journey in 2013, I didn’t have many resources that catered to my style of cooking or food tastes. I did a lot of research, created a lot of recipes of my own, and found ways to navigate a menu at a restaurant to still be able to eat and be satisfied. You may ask, why did I choose this food lifestyle? I decided to give up meat for Lent as a personal challenge and I ended up sticking with it. It was one of the best things I did for my life! Since that day, I’ve been able to lose and maintain my weight, I feel better inside and out, and you truly learn your body. This is truly a lifestyle change, but it doesn’t have to be daunting as people make it seem. Eating healthy can be good and your food can have flavor too.
You don’t have to choose! That is something that people aren’t aware of and I want to spread that word to everyone.
